We still have to show come-passion and acknowledge the trauma so many African Americans have experienced because of our melanated skin.&nbsp;</p><p>Colorism, the prejudice or discrimination against individuals with a darker skin tone, is a pervasive issue that impacts people of all ages. In the context of aging, the effects of colorism can be particularly pronounced as wrinkles, age spots, and other signs of aging become more visible.
